After heavy rainfall overnight, the skies would clear for Round 8 of the TORC Series and make for a beautiful day for racing. Reimers and the LIQUID WRENCH® Pro Light started in the 2nd row inside and carried a torrid pace the first half of the race and was sitting P4 at the competition caution. When the green flag dropped on the 2nd half of the race, an aggressive Reimers quickly worked himself into the P2 position and began working on the leader. Throughout an amazing battle for the lead with 4 laps to go, heavy contact would do damage to the left front of the #21 truck. Reimers' abilities were put to the test during these last 4 laps and the young Iowan was able to bring home a 3rd place podium finish when the race concluded.
Ogden, IA— July 20, 2016 -- Last weekend the Cam Reimers Motorsports team traveled north to Minnesota to due battle at ERX Motor Park outside Minneapolis and the new venue did not disappoint. This brand new track had a motocross flair with extreme elevation changes and sandy terrain that developed multiple lines throughout the race. These conditions played right into the hands of Cam Reimers, a former ATV Motocross Champion

"That was one of the hardest races I have ever driven", said Reimers. "I made it a point to bring the intensity from lap 1 today and I think it showed. It was not only a physically challenging race but mentally challenging as well; with about 4 laps to go I went from thinking we were going to win the race to quickly encountering some front end issues and just trying to survive for a podium finish. I definitely dug deep to hang on and I am stoked to be on the box for my team and our sponsors!"
The LIQUID WRENCH® / Makson Team now sits 4th in a tight points battle with 5 Rounds remaining in the TORC Series Championship. Cheer the team on as they do battle in Bark River, Michigan on July 30 & 31 and check out the TV Coverage on Thursday Nights on Fox Sports 2!
